Our Story

We (Bill, Jeney & Apryl) bought our first home in 2011, it was at the end of a cul-de-sac and a blank canvas with no landscaping in the huge backyard.  So in part of it we decided to plant a garden. We had planted gardens before at homes we rented, but because we did not own the homes we didn't want to get too crazy. Our first summer harvest at our new home was good, but at only about 100 square feet, we knew we wanted more. In 2012 we expanded our garden, over 500 square feet in size, adding new planting beds and had a terrific harvest thru the summer.

During the fall of 2012, we decided that we wanted to go full scale and have our entire yard be our garden and that was when Full Value Farms was born. Over the months of December and January 2013 we built new planting beds and now our small suburban farm is at about 5000 square feet. In April 2013 we had our Farmers Market Inspection and passed!  Now we are currently waiting for our certificate. We expect to be selling at the Cherry Hills Farmers Market in May of 2013.
